Colombia:
This is Colombian Mesa de los Santos aka. Bucaramanga, a private "estate" mill coffee from a single family farm. The coffee is what great Colombian was 20 years ago: a Caturra Cultivar variety is used rathar than the inferior, high-yield, disease resistent Variedad Colombian. Certified organically grown in full shade from trees at very respectable elevations of 5,000 to 5,200 feet. Mesa de los Santos has been very agressive in improving their ability to grow, mill and export the best quality, Caturra varietal Colombian coffee. In fact they recently won a competitive World Resources Institute venture capital award honoring their bio-diverse business, an effort coordinated by manager Oswaldo Acevedo.
